Question

Would it be a big job to have a spread sheet - useful for the Einstein problems and also for mafia where the roles and players are inserted by the host and we can each add our X, ?, / .... if we can keep it at the top of the page top while reading that would be awesome!

I had two objectives - neither for collaboration.

1 - Einstein Puzzles where you tick the boxes and fill in a spread sheet - it's interative individually for each person as part of the topic/page

Then players add their X, / to complete as they read through the clues - it's a pain to switch to between board and spread sheets

2 - Mafia games, where a SS is always at the top for edit as the game progress.

So each player keeps his own spread sheet visible - it's probably available as a table in HTML, but it's the individuals sheet that needs updating whole reading

Bottom line it would be an asset to the game if we could have our spread sheet in the forum, up or to one side

Otherwise your right - google or MS etc and split your screen - but the SS usually has to be shrunk to a level where it is cumbersome.

Seperate Question's

are BTSC threads now available as standard?

Is it possible to run a vote attached to the top of the thread that is changeable, as it is in the game, showing the contributions (who v who)

An attached pole would be great - then we have less voting issues of copying and colour coding. Many lynches have had poor copying. It would eliminate this if we can change our vote

Is it possible to run a count down timer for end of game phases?

Also inbox failure - ? can we hold more mail - at the moment it jams over night when hosting (mainly at the begining due to Qs from players)

I think thats enough for now. I am asking a lot

Only problem that I see with the voting pole is that there would be no record of the votes and you could not look back at what others have said/who they have voted for.

regarding 1 and 2 - use spreadsheets outside BD

regarding BTSC forums on BD, they are available as per request from experienced host who can guarantee their proper use ... 1 mafia game at 1 time only

polls can be created as usually - 1 poll per 1 topic (1 vote per 1 member)

it is possible to specify topic open/close time

no inbox increase ... you can archive the old messages

must comment when voting - and yes it is harder to follow - but a different way of playing, the swingometer is usueful in the way it's played here. It's just an interesting variation that I have seen in games of 25-40 players, no one is allowed to vote and not comment. I have not come across one that allows changes.

The poll at topic start can't be used for every lynch or changed
