Guest
a man walks into a tall building; goes to the elevator; pushes the button of the 10th floor; gets out on the 10th floor and then walks up another 7th floor; on the 17th floor then he enters into an apartment; he sits down on his bed then gets up and jumps out of the window; why? CLUE: there is saw spane under the bed.

0 Guest
Maybe he knows he isn't committing suicide when he jumps out of the window. It just sounds that way when read. Maybe he has a balcony, or is cleaning his wondows on a window washing thing, or maybe he is a skydiver, but probably its something else that I can't think of as none of those suppositions relate to sawdust. 0 Guest
I believe the good Professor has already solved this, but to spell it out... The man was a midget. His profession depended upon being a midget. His routine for the elevator has always been that way so he may not notice the supposed height difference. However, he does notice it on his bed. Perhaps he normally has to 'climb' onto the bed but this time he was able to sit. This is because someone sawed the legs down so he would believe he was taller. Realizing he would no longer be apt for his career, he did a swan-dive from the 17th floor. Fortunately, a manhole cover was open and he was small enough to pass right through into raw sewage. He realized that irony that everything in his life had gone down the crapper

0 Guest
The person was obese and had insomnia. He has not slept for days, so he figured he would exercise to make himself tired then goto bed. He can not walk all 17 floors so he starts on floor 10 ( hence obese) He then reaches his room, tries to fall asleep, he can't, frustrated with failure, he jumps out the window to end his misery. Thank you.
