Three men book into a motel room. The cost of the room is $30, so each man pays $10. After checkin, the Motel Clerk realises she has overcharged them, and the actual cost of the room is only $25. She gives the remaining $5 to the Porter to return to the 3 gentlemen. The Porter decides it is too difficult to split $5 between the 3 men, so he gives them $3 back - $1 each - and keeps the remaining $2 for himself.
So now the 3 men have paid $9 each for the room ($27) and the Porter has $2...... Where's the other $1????
