Guest
Hello everyone. It's my first time here at brainden. I hope you like my first number puzzle. You have six numbers, they are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. They must always remain ordered from lowest to highest. Every minute you take away any one of the numbers. After six minutes what are all the possible number combinations at the end of each minute?
0 Guest
I think you should word this differently. By asking "After six minutes what are all the possible number combinations at the end of each minute?" you are limiting the answer to a null set, as after six minutes, there are no numbers left with which to make a combination. After 1 minute: 6 combinations After 2 minutes: 15 combinations After 3 minutes: 20 combinations After 4 minutes: 15 combinations After 5 minutes: 6 combinations After 6 minutes: 1 combination (no numbers left ... 1 solution)
