0 Guest Posted April 19, 2008 Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 too late to edit and add workings so here they are the minute hand goes at 6 degrees every minute the hour hand goes at 0.5 degrees every minute the minute hand is 30 degrees behind at 1 p.m the minute hand catches 5.5 degrees every minute 30/5.5 = 5.4545 minutes which is 1/11 of an hour Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
