Guest
I may be an idiot, but I don't see a square in either of those two colors.
rookie1ja
I may be an idiot, but I don't see a square in either of those two colors. Move the yellow part left to fit the green part.

Guest
it my just be me but its wrong i found that there is an extra box
Guest
There is no extra box. The grid, as presented, is seven boxes wide by ten boxes high--space for 70 boxes; however, the hole in the middle is six boxes large. Thus there are exactly 64 boxes in the original drawing. Shifting the cut pieces to make an 8x8 square uses all 64 boxes.
Guest
i get it but it didn't say you could move the boxes or cut several line segments
rookie1ja
i get it but it didn't say you could move the boxes or cut several line segments I wrote the following: Slice (or as you wrote: cut) the rectangle with a hole in its centre into 2 sections so that you could make (or as you wrote: move the boxes) a square 8x8 (without that hole in the centre). You may suggest better wording (for other puzzles as well). I thought that it could be understood from my wording (which is not perfect)

Guest
the square's outlined in blue a few lines are missing but at least the hole is overlapped. Now, does it fit the conditions?
