An idea jumped out at me while I was having lunch earlier today and was playing in it all day. Needed to get it off my mind so made simple WAIs out of them. Have fun! ;)

The tar slid backwards to reveal filthy vermin.

I work for me team,

Endless it seems,

Barking commands,

I do as they demand;

Giddy up, back up,

But I won't get fed up,

Move they said,

Whoa stop, wait;

Gee and haw,

Go on, more,

I work and work,

All for me team.

The first girl in the heart of that tier is a dangerous and vicious being.

Oh me foot!

It's their loot,

I lost it to the fiend,

Who wants to catch the falling wind.

The wild dog ran from the deadly serpent.

A confused sneak is a dangerous predator.

The hose between the initial rivers is a fast and steady ride.

Oh my name,

What a weird thing,

It's a polyseme,

What confusion it brings.

The first might mislead many,

To think that I help with your memory,

Sometimes it can be dynamic,

Other times it can be static.

The second is hard,

Makes gates part,

It can be heavy,

And carried by many.

The last is the real me,

The one alive and talking,

So that you can see,

And solve this annoying thing.

One's a holy person,

The other opens a lock,

Combine both into one,

And the result likes misconduct.

The alarm clock which shakes errs too.

The first deerstalkers go mix and hunt with good trackers.

3.142 Gs is fast,

No, doesn't describe me trait,

'Cause when it comes to a race I'm always last,

This weird equation in actuality spells me name.

uh is #4 a croc? and #9 a monkey, and the thing common between all the answers is that they're animals

9) Monkey is right. 4 is not croc. And the theme is not as simple as that.
