0 Guest
7 girls X 7 bags X 7 big cats = 343 big cats X 4 legs each = 1372 big cat legs 343 big cats X 7 small cats = 2401 little cats X 4 legs each = 2401 small cat legs 7 girls X 2 legs each = 14 girl legs 1372 big cat legs + 2401 small cat legs + 14 girl legs = 3787 legs (add two more legs if the bus driver is on board)
0 Guest
7 girls X 7 bags X 7 big cats = 343 big cats X 4 legs each = 1372 big cat legs 343 big cats X 7 small cats = 2401 little cats X 4 legs each = 2401 small cat legs 7 girls X 2 legs each = 14 girl legs 1372 big cat legs + 2401 small cat legs + 14 girl legs = 3787 legs (add two more legs if the bus driver is on board ) Check your math. I wouldn't expect an odd number of legs. 2401 little cats X 4 legs each ? 2401 small cat legs
0 Guest
Thanks for catching the computation error. I believe the following is the corrected version. 7 girls X 7 bags X 7 big cats = 343 big cats X 4 legs each = 1372 big cat legs 343 big cats X 7 small cats = 2401 little cats X 4 legs each = 9604 big cat legs 7 girls X 2 legs each = 14 girl legs 1372 big cat legs + 9604 big cat legs + 14 girl legs = 10990 legs (add two more legs if the bus driver is on board )

Question: How many Legs are there inside the bus? <!-- s8O --><!-- s8O --> You missed something there guys... If it was said that each girl has 7 daughters, will that affect the number of legs ON the bus??? So why will the fact the the 7 big cats have 7 small cats each?? What about the fact that each girl HAS 7 bags (somewhere) For all I know, there are 0 legs on the bus given the non-specification of the condition of the girls (Amputation) and the presence of this driver

What about the fact that each girl HAS 7 bags (somewhere) For all I know, there are 0 legs on the bus given the non-specification of the condition of the girls (Amputation) and the presence of this driver Some riddles are deliberately misleading and that's the point of them. That doesn't seem to be the point of this riddle. Of course you can answer that the riddle is unsolvable because we weren't told if all the cats have four legs, all the girls have two, if the small cats that are had by the big cats are on the bus, if the Polish hockey team is also on the bus, etc. This is an obvious math task and not one intended to trip you up. You can probably resurrect at least half of the threads on this forum to nit-pick how answers could be different if we play semantic games, but I'd appreciate if you didn't. 0 Guest
I was about to post this. 7 girls (14) 49 bags (0) 343 Big Cats (1372) 2401 Small Cats (9604) 9604 + 1372 + 14 = 10990 Good job you guys.
0 Guest
How many 'legs' are inside the bus? Of course you need to know the number of seats and how many legs on a seat. So it's impossible to know the number of legs.
