Guest
I just came to ponder when I was a child, a subject that I liked most. Ordinary children would seem to excell and have ample reason to boast. Treats and prizes were promised to me, If I could beat this pesky bee. But study and practice and try as I might, I never was good at my one delight. All of this has brought to me, a certain kind of victory. For all the world has grown so lazy, and couldn't be bothered with the pesky bee. Now this subject is my strong-suit, today But don't be mislead by what I say.

0 Guest
i was thinking spelling bee but that seems to obvious... so maybe its being a "buzy bee" because people are lazy today and as a child you were wound up with energy and your parrents just wanted you to calm down so they tried to bribe (with treats) so you would sit and relax

0 Guest
It says don't be mislead and i think everyone else has been. Instead of a spelling bee is it a geography bee or something of a different subject?
0 Guest
I have to agree with hartleydogg33. The easy answer is just too easy and the riddle does say "But don't be mislead by what I say." The subject is Music. The bee could be Flight of the Bumble Bee. Many children have to learn music in school. Those who excel "have ample reason to boast." But, once out of school, many "grow lazy" and don't keep up with it?
