I'm thinking of a number between 1 and a 1,000,000. The number that I'm not thinking of is 50. What number am I thinking of?
Spoiler for Solution

Welcome to the boards, miztayk!
Sorry, that doesn't work. You didn't say you were thinking of a number in the center or middle of two numbers, you said "between". For instance, there are many cities and towns between New York and Chicago, not just the one directly in the middle of the two points. There are 9,999,998 numbers between 1 and 1,000,000. Nice use of obfuscation, though.
