There is a 20 foot deep well. The well is empty with the exception of a tiny frog sitting at the bottom. The frog decides to escape from its well-prison, and begins trying to climb its way out. Every day, the frog manages to climb 2 feet up the side of the slippery well wall. Every night, while the frog rests, the poor frog slides back down the wall 1 foot. How many days of climbing must the frog endure before it can finally escape?
The frog can finally climb out on the 19th day!... poor frog.
