Question

One is a need, one is a want

You could switch between them to taunt

One is big, seems small

The other, vice versa; maybe caused by a ball

One being roots

While one maybe wanting flutes

If it's a special day, you stand in front of the mirror

And Pride yourself in having one or both (without a shiver)

Both need a nose; sweet or stinky

And maybe like the lizard, one needs to be slinky

Both might make you a big time flouncer

Now solve it and find relation between title and answer.

P.S: answer is easy, relation is hard

it's another answer all together... :D

Been watchin this one for a bit...

Boa?

I can explain, but won't bother if it's not right.

slightly ::offtopic::

just IMO, everyone who keeps thinking people are going to be disappointed with the answer they've thought of for their riddles, KNOCK IT OFF!! It's frustrating! These riddles are awesome, and if people don't like the answer, they can bug off!

Sorry...rant moment.

P.S. EDM, it's not just you, honey. A lot of OP's lately have been saying the same thing to really good riddles just because riddlers go in a different direction from the original thought. Nothing against you personally.

yeah, it's been awhile.. I work nights, so its my only internet time, and usually by the time I get here most of the new ones are solved...But i get to watch these fascinating mind-bending beauties unfold every night! :)

Boa/bough? Bow (to take a bow)/bow (bowtie)? Bough/Bow? I completely forgot the first time around it's the homophone thing, I totally meant to word it that way..

Secondly, you're absolutely welcome!

I'm thinking its a word connecting family with ambition--

you need a family, it seems small but has a huge impact, has to do with roots, proud to be in your family, stick through your family through sweet and stinky, can make you "flounce" at being happy...

ambition is a want, seems like it takes more effort than family so it seems big, a ball as in you could be ambitious in sports or music (flutes), proud of your ambition, follow your nose (gut), may have to be slinky to get to your goal, want to dance at your achievements.

one for all and all for one... seems to follow with family but not so ambition. hmm.
