Question

Easily Canadian, a common pair in line proclaim disgust, as their shortened sibling and his multiple female sheep go once before them. Crossed behind the start of the animal fair, the blue bird hesitated in speech to eat his podded veggie before a shortened lesson. Before #22 exclaimed "I made a mistake!", the front half of the wigwam hit the end of the animal fair and knocked over the boat. The raised train conductor also Canadian took a brief nap to ask a question, not quite failing to exclaim about a whiz.

Kinda proud about this one. Hope you guys aren't too disappointed with the answer. The title is a direct hint, but i want reasoning for your answer too. Thanks, and have fun!

If it helps, this is in the style of John B and plainglazed. Not quite word for letter, but there is a way to designate each word...

Okay, I know no one is on this time of night, but I have to bug out in about 10 minutes. Go ahead with your guesses, I'll be back on tonight around midnight:30..

OK, I'll try and start the ball a rollin'. Am thinking this one works like the POWs of JohnB. For all not familiar with them, they can look in his topics to see examples. Or learn as you go. Parts of the riddle playfully represent letters like in the spoiler:

Before #22 exclaimed "I made a mistake!", the front half of the wigwam hit the end of the animal fair and knocked over the boat. The raised train(el = L) conductor also Canadian (eh = A) took a brief nap (zzzz = Z) to ask a question (why = Y), not quite failing to exclaim about a whiz.

Like I say, just a start and by no means even correct.

This looks like it'll be fun. I think I know the final sentence but still working on how to get there :)

I have

"in line proclaim disgust" - in line [Q] + proclaim disgust [ick] -> quick

"shortened sibling and his multiple female sheep go once before them" - shortened sibling [bro] + multiple female sheep [uu -> w] + [still unsure] -> brown

Haha, yep, pretty sure that's it!

Easily Canadian, = Eh

a common pair = two -> T?

in line = Q

proclaim disgust, = Ick

as their shortened sibling = Bro

and his multiple female sheep - Ewes = UU = W

go once before them. ?

Crossed = X

behind -> directional

the start of the animal fair, = F

the blue bird = Jay = J

hesitated in speech = uh = U

to eat his podded veggie = peas = PP

before a shortened lesson. ?

Before #22 ? (V = 22nd letter ...)

exclaimed "I made a mistake!", = Oh *crap* ? = O

the front half of the wigwam = V

hit the end of the animal fair = R

and knocked over the boat. ?

The raised train conductor = El = L

also Canadian = Eh = A

took a brief nap = Z

to ask a question, = Y

not quite failing = D

to exclaim = Oh! = O

about a whiz ?

Wow, guys! Beat me at my own game! But you have to finish telling me how...

So far: PG you're first guesses were right on the money, followed by DD, and PeeJ is so, very, very close for the end product, but not entirely right. Waiting on a few more explanations, then I'll give the full answer/expl of what I have.

Easily Canadian, = Eh = yes, which makes it ...what letter?

a common pair = two -> T? = no.

in line = Q = yes, kind of..

proclaim disgust, = Ick = yes

as their shortened sibling = Bro = yes

and his multiple female sheep - Ewes = UU = W = yes

go once before them. ? = ...

Crossed = X = yes

behind -> directional = yes

the start of the animal fair, = F = yes...we're missing something here...

the blue bird = Jay = J = yes

hesitated in speech = uh = U = yes

to eat his podded veggie = peas = PP = just one

before a shortened lesson. ? = ...

Before #22 ? (V = 22nd letter ...) = yes

hit the end of the animal fair = R = no

also Canadian = Eh = A = yes

took a brief nap = Z = yes

Told you I'm no good at these.....

So it's easier to read...

Easily canadian = EH = A / a common pair= US=S/ go once before them = MN=N/ podded veggies =P(just one)/ Shortened lesson=ED/ hit the end of the animal fair =E / knocked the boat over= OVER=R/ about a whiz= G WHIZ= G

Keep in mind, these are all probably horribly wrong, but at least I gave it my best shot.

Using t_l's spoiler (hopefully) for ease and since spoilers dont otherrwise seem to be working.

Easily Canadian, = Eh = A

a common pair in line = Qu

proclaim disgust, = Ick

as their shortened sibling = Bro

and his multiple female sheep - Ewes = UU = W

go once before them. ?

Crossed = X

behind -> directional

the start of the animal fair, = ? (needs to be fo?)

the blue bird = Jay = J

hesitated in speech = um

to eat his podded veggie = peas = p

before a shortened lesson. ? (needs to be s?)

Before = directional

#22 = V (22nd letter)

exclaimed = Oh = O

"I made a mistake!", = err or er

the front half of the wigwam = t (from teepee)

hit the end of the animal fair = ? (needs to be h?)

and knocked over the boat. e (from the shape)

The raised train conductor = El = L

also Canadian = Eh = A

took a brief nap = Z

to ask a question, = Y

not quite failing = D

to exclaim = Oh! = O

about a whiz gee = G

Indeed a great one, C_V. You should be very proud.

Thanks so much, PG! It means a lot coming from such a seasoned POW'r..

And great job everyone so far!

Not sure what the spoiler issue is... I think you have to leave out a title...

Easily Canadian, = Eh = A YES

a common pair in line = Qu YES

proclaim disgust, = Ick YES

as their shortened sibling = Bro YES

and his multiple female sheep - Ewes = UU = W YES

go once before them. ? N Deanna YES yay!

Crossed = X YES

behind -> directional YES, X goes behind "the start of the animal fair"

the start of the animal fair, = ?

the blue bird = Jay = J YES

hesitated in speech = um YES

to eat his podded veggie = peas = p YES

before a shortened lesson. ED Deanna YES yay!

Before = directional YES O before V

#22 = V (22nd letter) YES

exclaimed = Oh = O YES

"I made a mistake!", = err or er YES er

the front half of the wigwam = t (from teepee) YES! excellent!

hit the end of the animal fair = ? (needs to be h?)

and knocked over the boat. e (from the shape) YES.. I realize it was a stretch, but I seem to recall someone using 'sideways boat' for 'e' before..

The raised train conductor = El = L YES

also Canadian = Eh = A YES

took a brief nap = Z YES

to ask a question, = Y YES

not quite failing = D YES

to exclaim = Oh! = O YES

about a whiz gee = G Gee Whiz! YES!

I think since all we're missing now is the animal fair, and it may just be a local thing... I'll give it to you. 4-H is the big animal/farm fair out here. so the start of the fair would be 'FO', and the end would be 'H'.

Thanks for playing guys!!
