Staring right at us the whole time and yet unexplicably (after seeing the answer) hidden. Still cant quite explain how you did it. I feel the trickiness to this one was not overly helped by the direction of the guesses but rather from a sophistication in the phrasing and composition as well as an acute understanding of how one attacks solving a riddle.
