Guest
When coming up with something that rhymed with red, I immediately put that challenge to bed. And when I tried to rhyme something with blue, I found that one easily too. And when it came down to yellow, I think chose a great fellow. I found a pretty good rhyme for pink- At least, that’s what I think. I easily found a rhyme for green, But most reading this know what I mean. I even found one for the dreaded orange, Though coming up with that makes me cringe. But there’s one that stands out, and I’m losing my mind, I don’t even think purple has a rhyme! So I guess I have to settle on violet- that changes the meaning, but don’t throw a fit.

0 Guest
color wheel...primary and secondary colors Is this gonna be like the riddle Colors where everyone got confused because I hilighted the color words with their colors so they tried to guess literally when it was really a metaphor? If so, I should have known better.

If so, I should have known better. I have no idea what "Colors" is, and if its a metaphor you should have said so. Don't expect everyone to know what kind of riddle it is, if it's not a simple WAI. Don't expect everyone to know what kind of riddle it is, if it's not a simple WAI. I'm not saying this is a metaphor. I'm asking if you're confused because I hilighted all the color words. P.S. pay more atention to the words around the color words, not just the colors themselves.

I think I remember reading something about how purple tends to be a depressing color, so depression? Failure? EDIT: depression would fit with your hint, looking at words like cringe or dread. I'm surprised you didn't go with mellow for yellow Edited July 9, 2009 by DarthNoob

I'm surprised you didn't go with mellow for yellow I don't think of it as that depressing color, but that's just me. cringe is there just because it's the only thing that I could come up with that even sort of rhymes with orange. I don't know why a skull would be purple... You could change the colors to a different catigory like animals or food and it still fit. It's not the colors themselves, but how I talk about them. I have no coment on your answer that would make any sense without giving away the real answer. Well know that I think about it, it does sort of kind of have somthing to do with it, but that would be going waaay out on a limb by saying that! I easily found a rhyme for green,
But most reading this know what I mean.
I even found one for the dreaded orange,
Though coming up with that makes me cringe.
But there’s one that stands out, and I’m losing my mind,
I don’t even think purple has a rhyme!
So I guess I have to settle on violet-
that changes the meaning, but don’t throw a fit.
