0 Guest
I dont know what you wrote two players in each team for. But the games can be organised as shown below. 1 v/s 5 2 v/s 6 3 v/s 7 4 v/s 8 1 v/s 8 2 v/s 5 3 v/s 6 4 v/s 7 1 v/s 7 2 v/s 8 3 v/s 5 4 v/s 6 1 v/s 6 2 v/s 7 3 v/s 8 4 v/s 5 1 v/s 2 3 v/s 4 5 v/s 6 7 v/s 8 1 v/s 4 2 v/s 3 5 v/s 8 6 v/s 7 1 v/s 3 4 v/s 2 5 v/s 7 8 v/s

0 Guest
I forgot to add the one more criteria: Each team will have 2 people on it, however, they cannot play with the same team member more than once throughout the tournament. 0 Guest
Cannot play with the same team member more than once throughout the tournament? What is that supposed to even mean? Is this a real teaser, or do you need help setting up a tournament? j/k, but i'm still a lil confused on what the OP is and what type of 'solution' you're looking for

0 Guest
Just to clarify, because this is what the previous answers might be missing, do people switch teams every game, or do they stay with the same partner throughout the tournament? 0 Guest
Use the Round Play table to for team to team play, and use the Team Matrix table to see who is on each team for each round. Enjoy!Team_Tourny.xls
0 Guest
Use the Round Play table to for team to team play, and use the Team Matrix table to see who is on each team for each round. Enjoy! Sorry, I noticed in my haste that I posted too quickly and my table is not complete... but you should get the idea to complete rounds 9 through 15. I believe you would end up with 420 games played to complete the task. (hint: it will be easier to make a second team matrix table for rounds 9-15)
