Question

Two words together describe this to tame

In a strange way my meaning is just the same

Whether read word by word

Although it sounds quite absurd

All allude to my circuitous fame.

You don't want to meet me accidentally

Then draw near, be alert most mentally

Can go this way or that

Depends where you're at

So surely you can approximate my identity.

Great riddle :) Wanting to get one guess in, before I go, even if it's not a great one.

bad luck

Really, must you go? Dang, it's hard to be melodramatic online. EDMs got me all goofy. Unfortunately, not that.

turtle dove...??? or falling dew....????

Ummm, getting closer??????

My brain's going a little wild on this one, thinking of everything from "solar system" to specific suits in a playing card deck, so I'm just trying to sort it out...

Bicycle?

Football? - sounds absurd, ball refers to circular shape, you don't want to be hit by one when you're not paying attention, and you have to pay attention to catch it, and it can bounce any which way

Disco ball? Crystal ball? - crystal ball could fit everything, given the right type (but then again, it's easier to answer riddles with magical items rather than real ones, as their properties are indefinite)

The last few lines make me think Sandman

Lady Luck? - the circular thing is qualified by "what comes around goes around," but that's a stretch

Rubber band?

Typhoon/hurricane?

Okay, I think that's enough for now... maybe

Dang, I missed out on a goofy mood? Bummer deal.

Good morning!

rainstorm(/thunderstorm)

Good morning MrsP! Not nearly so goofy, sorry. All work and too little play. Gotta squeeze five days into four. Now how's that for a conundrum? Your guess is not where I'm coming from for this one. Thanks for shopping. Come back real soon.

Does the word "tame" matter?

I can only come up with two words that fit in "this to tame," easy-to-tame and hard-to-tame. Which makes me think the answer is "difficulty," because difficulty is a measure of how hard something is, so difficulty can be easy... but it doesn't fit the other lines.

Sorry all for my lack of presence here lately. Went to the mountains over the long weekend and no connectivity. Am back now (obviously) and will better keep this one current. Nothing right yet. DN, the "this to tame" part refers only to the riddle itself so the answer is what is to tame. hm, though I hope this is an A1 riddle, there is no elaborate word play here, pretty much a straightforwared WAI.
