Question

if there are black and white cars of the same brand , technically there is no variation between the cars . even though there is no technical difference, the white consume more fuel than the black for same distance and there is no difference in driving conditions, style etc., how is this possible?

the answer is not technical, its purely funny :-)

I got 3 hair brain ideas:

The sun heats the metal body of the car, thus expanding it to be 1mm longer then the white car. It travels 1mm further.

The heat from the body of the black car creates a low pressure bubble, allowing the car to move through the air easier.

The cars engine and components warm faster due to the black paint. This saves fuel due to the car not having to burn fule getting the engine up to ideal temp.

Wouldn't that go against "no differences in conditions or driving style"?

Well, driving conditions usually refers to road conditions, so those would be the same. and driving style, they have the same driver...not sure if that makes it work, but sounds good to me
