Question

Slow or fast, in it comes.

Wet and deep, not so fun.

Not prepared? Too late now,

Make a barricade. Somehow.

Close it off, control the seep.

Locked up tight; hope it keeps.

Not down low, but up high.

Not so far; it’s below the sky.

White, tan, cream, or brown.

Any. Stop the echoed sound.

Slanted or not, it just depends.

With an edge, the side it blends.

i'm seriously considering giving up........only this and Malcolm's 'four answers' riddle are so tough.

* I call them the best riddles*

and You and Malcolm the *best riddle-writers*, so far.............. :D:D:D:D:D:D

rough/ruff???

When I said he was on the right track, it wasn't by how his answer sounds.

And wow, that is very nice to say. I am definitely not one of the best riddle writers, but that is nice.

a tent in a rainstorm
no that's not right.

You were right, that's not right.

Plane/helicopter/zeppelin/balloon?

I'm thinking one of those got some kind of structural damage, like a big gaping, leaking hole, making the inside wetter, and really noisy... yeah, it's a stretch

No, sorry. Did you see a few posts back when I told Malcolm he was on the right track? Maybe take a look at that, then read the riddle again, then have another go.

Pollution?

Slow or fast, wet = acid rain

Control the seep, locked up tight = nuclear radiation

Up high = any type of gaseous pollution

Different colors = gray smog, brown smog

Echoed sound = sound pollution

Slanted, edge, blends = ?
