Question

This riddle contains four

The first two are nearly the same for which you most likely have the first

and because of this you must have the second.

The last two are paradoxical opposites for if you have the third

you have and don't have need of the fourth.

If you have the third, well then you certainly have the first two.

If you have the fourth you want the first, or at least the second.

What are we?

Is it like a book... a beginning, middle, end, and conclusion?

I would call either "end" or "conclusion" "climax"

the first things that came to my mind were birth, life, death, and afterlife, two of which may possibly be changed to growth and aging depending on how you look at it

:)

Well, that's about as clear as mud...

Fascinating riddle, btw.

have you people given up?

not really; this is a thinker

The first two are nearly the same for which you most likely have the first and because of this you must have the second.

The last two are paradoxical opposites for if you have the third you have and don't have need of the fourth.

If you have the third, well then you certainly have the first two.

If you have the fourth you want the first, or at least the second.

Addition:

if you have the third then you have the first and second, but you don't need them. Furthermore, you don't have the fourth, yet you need it, so the third gains an end.

What are we?

1. Internet connection

2. Computer

3. your Riddle

4. the Answer
