0 Guest
Good Morning! Great metaphor! is the holocaust...or I suppose any kind of war with the men coming in and taking over and/or raping and stuff. Sorry my answer is dark, but your metaphors usually are too. 0 deannaart
ooh I like that answer too. Both of your answers are very intuitive and fantastic!!! On that note I must say, MrsP is the WINNERRRRR!!!! You were right to guess dark. You know me too well. Is that how you got it so fast? I thought this one really had some staying power. You got me dead to rights. SOLDIERS RAPING AND PILLAGING A TOWN

SOLDIERS RAPING AND PILLAGING A TOWN It was FANTASTIC! Don't think it wasn't because I got it fast. I do know that you write dark, but I know you try to write light as well. I see things, and think dark too. I think that is how I got it so quickly. But that is why I love your metaphors sooooo much - because I don't have to guess the fluffy fake stuff. Fantastic metaphor! Not easy, but beautiful.
Question
deannaart
All the hens in the coop
Were clucking to one another
Telling stories among themselves
About roosters and each other
Then one hen sounded in alarm
She was in quite a panic
Seems there was a coyote about
One that was quite manic
The hens were clucking non-stop
They hid in the backs of their cages
Notorious were the coyotes
For their monstrous rampages
The hens were scared stiff
Full of panic and blind fear
Their chests felt so closed off
As the coyote began to draw near
