Question

Try to solve this Puzzle. May anyone here can solve it.

Note: PIN is landing in the file, start from left to right I call the last number

Note 2: All figures are numbers of correct and no fractures or breaks

Puzzle is:

Was one of the employees heading to work, and when he wants to have forgotten the numbers of five digits to enter the main door

And five, but little things on the terms, namely:

Figure V + III is equal to the number 14

The fourth largest number of single-digit second

The first number is less than double the figure number and the second one

Figure II + III is equal to the number 10

Total of all five numbers equal to 30

Try to find the five figures???

The solution is not too easy. any body els.

Can you help me clarify the clues?

I understand it's a 5 digit number, where the digits are labeled in order from left to right: I, II, III, IV, V

Then II + III = 10

III + V = 14

II is the 4th highest of the 5 digits

I is smaller than 2 times it's digit + II

and I + II + III + IV + V = 30

?

Also I'm assuming I can use each digit only once. Did I misunderstand something?

Naji. I'm having a little trouble interpreting that 3rd clue... I'm going to guess that it means Figure I is less than double Figure II. Please rephrase if I've misunderstood.

I was also struggling to interpret it because of the second and third clue, but if your interpretations are correct, than you have it. It didn't post it because I couldn't clarify what it meant

Let’s see if I can fix this after a tweak here and there.

must be even since they add up to 14.

since all five digits = 30, and 1-->9 would equal 45, the four digits not used must be three odd and 1 even or 1 odd and three even.

the three undetermined digits in the pin must be two odds and one even to add up to an even number.(30)

therefore V+III must be 8 and 6, not necessarily in that order.

if i understand the next two clues correctly, the second digit will be the fourth largest number of the five digits.

digit I < (2+ digit II)

digit II cannot be 1 because it is the second-smallest.

digit II cannot be 9 or 7 because there must be 4 digits larger than II in the pin, and I < II.

digit II could be 5 if digit IV were 7, then digit I must be 4.

then digit I must be 4.

so 4,5, 6or 8, 7, 6or 8

4+5+6+7+8=30

but how to determine whether 45876 or 45687? oops, i overlooked the = 10 clue that must be the key if figure II and III equal 10, then figure II cannot be odd. above is wrong! Arrgh! Okay, all the numbers cannot be even because there are only 2468 to use. but, one cannot be odd or the digits could not total 30. At least two digits must be odd. okay, I am going to have to start over, running out of edit time....
