Question

Dig and dig, ‘til you’re blistered and sore.

Hop inside and dig some more.

Put me on, and look badass,

I make you cool, to that certain class.

Foot and mouth, black and blue,

You have me, and there’s no help for you.

Still off, though]

Dig and dig, ‘til you’re blistered and sore.

Hop inside and dig some more. Gardening

Put me on, and look badass, Leather, gloves, boxing

I make you cool, to that certain class.

Foot and mouth, black and blue, boxing, MAYBE biking (if you fall)

You have me, and there’s no help for you.

Great answers, both of you, and while all of them fit well, in some parts, none of them fit all of it.

I'm thinking the above

Gothic
But not sure how the last line fits...

Yeah, that's not it. Tell me how you think it fits for the first four lines? I'm curious.

Hey, decoy. Welcome to the den. Luckily, this is not the answer. But, it is customary, here, to hide our answer guesses inside a SPOILER. You'll find the spoiler button on your left when making a post.

Does each couplet have a separate meaning or something? Or is it just one whole thing?

first two lines - shovel, holes?

next two - sunglasses? or something along those lines...

last two - some kind of disease?

I don't wish to give any hints on this one. I'm just going to let it sit here until someone gets it.

You should further these thoughts. Your third couplet is on the right track, and you're getting there with the first couplet. Your second has the right idea, but not it.

I like sacred cow's answer. I'm gonna go with that! (I'm not sure how to do quotes, otherwise I would...)

Nope, not sacred cow's answer, either. And to add a quote, all you have to do, is click on the (" reply) button

RIGHT

hop inside and dig some more-- not chicken pox. grave, but not . hole. in the dirt? in the finances debt? dig yourself into a hole, foot in the mouth, embarrassment, making a fool out of yourself, but black and blue doesn't fit, hurting yourself does.

digging yourself into a hole, saying foolish things (put your foot in your mouth) hurting yourself with your own actions black and blue bruises talking til you are blue in the face talking up a bad attitude to be cool putting on a bad mouth but only cool to a certain class

is it: Talking too much?
