Question

Guest

Repeatedly I’m getting these rides to the parlor.

I have just died. Surely I can’t die again.

I’ve been practicing my death with the gravest valor.

Please, do allow me to explain.

You would think I will soon be on display.

Over and over, the parlor doth call.

And strange is the vessel, which bears me away.

What am I doing here, casket and all?

Flowers / Roses?

(your buds continually die, then you "die" after being cut, then you "die" after living our your usefulness. The "vessel" could be a literal vase, and you would be put on display, and make multiple trips to funeral homes and graveyards...)

Does this have anything to do with a war reinactment? Like a civil war reinactment or something... Soon on display made me think of Memorial Day...

Clever idea, JohnB. It has nothing to do with that sort of thing, though.

I'm so excited. I finally got a riddle that you can get (I swear you can) that still is unsolved in the morning.

None of you have it yet. Keep thinking.

When I ask: Now what's for supper?

I wish upon some four-leaf clovers

Dinner's not from coffins tupper

Because I hate to eat "leftovers"
