Old monks chanting, loud and long. The clanging crash of pealing chimes. Let you know, these are lamenting times. A requiem played in the darkest hour. For here we mourn the death of a flower. For here we mourn the death of a flower. are we to guess the death of some flower? what are we going for :S it's written very poetic like, and so the objective isn't really clear to me. I can't get past the beautiful structure of it XD There is no hidden meaning in my riddle. All that is written in it, is there because a flower died. We don't need to figure out "what the flower really is, or represents, or anything." Just, something died: a flower. Do you understand?
