Question

Everybody has me...

Everything does too.

We need not argue semantics,

it’s just my point of view.

Everybody has me...

Yet noone has me two.

Don’t ever, ever forget me,

Lest happiness turn blue.

The Answer...

Everybody has me...

Everything does too.

(a date of birth or creation!

We need not argue semantics,

it’s just my point of view.

Bud has a born on date, but you could argue semantically that it wasn't actually born

Everybody has me...

Yet noone has me two.

WORDPLAY....Noone has two birthday's!

Don’t ever, ever forget me,

Lest happiness turn blue.

Forget someones birthday and make them sad!!

I really liked this one.... and yesterday was my neighbors! :D

not sure "do you have me"? as title clue and "lest happiness" means "unless happiness" if you forget someone's it should be "or happiness turns blue" or maybe he means you die but then the don't forget unless doesn't make sense (we still celebrate Mozart's etc.)

Earlier in my posts I said I was out of character by not clue-ing in the title, sorry you missed that, probably would've helped.

No expression in your comment..... Did you like it? Or....?

its a very bad line from a film, the boy gives a 20 minute speech wanting the girl back, she says "you had me at hello". meaning no explanation to your riddle needed. loved it.
