Question

If you're going to commit

Consider needs and confirmations

I can help keep it legit

So let's work out the inspirations

(It's odd I do no walking)

Oh you do understand

(I've done my share of talking)

It's good not to pretend

Bottom line is you can use me

As your base and as your block

Just don't be tempted to abuse me

And then you'll fly, not merely walk.

Good morning all! And bang up job on this one dancer! I'm really stuck! must think harder....

Good morning Deannaart :) And thanks, hope it proves fun to think about. You know by now, my riddles are never as difficult as they appear at first glance.

no to both above

and maybe it is to early for clues... but both answers above may, in some sense, have something to do with the answer

ok, a little help,

to first guess - I would ask, think what your answer's job would be to do, and that might help

to second guess (deannaart), think what types of your guess exist in society and that might help

Good morning to you as well.

It keeps leading me back to either

a) the legal system

b) prescription drugs

c) dr. kevorkian (don't ask)

hello Gubdude :)

your first guess might be closest in terms of where your thoughts should be headed

A jury?

no

your two guesses above would require you to make a leap to the answer in terms of associations

keep in mind what razzz212 asked, the title of the riddle is a clue and the riddle is full of direct clues

Gotcha. But unfortunately, the title has me puzzled.

you are actually doing really well deannaart in terms of associations

keep going back to the riddle and ask yourself why I choose the words I choose at each line...
