Question

Posted · Report post

There was once a doll with a painted face,

An expression, sad, would wrench your heart.

Her name engraved upon her case,

A name for the emotional agony, she’ll impart.

Though to look at her, you may feel sorrow,

You find a beauty, an attraction to her.

You’ll long to return and see her tomorrow,

A tug of passion, gives way to an emotional blur.

In no way could she be perfected,

When painful sadness has, your heart, affected.

What was the doll’s name?

Yes, very on the right track. I just realized this isn't a very good riddle. It will just turn into a guessing game, rather than a brain tease of sorts. I'm working on that. But this is the right area to be in.
