Question

Posted · Report post

I belong on a stage, but I’m used everyday,

A disguise of sorts, to lead people astray.

A scene, a theatrical and splendid act

And others will think they have all the facts.

In my grandiose fakery, lies are my game

And making them big is my middle name.

nope, but this answer is sort of closer. It's merely a word you're not likely to think of, but you're sure to know

Aha!!! And we have solved the puzzle!! I didn't realize there were so many other VERY cool similar words. I LOVE the word masquerade. Should have made it the answer.

I thought of facade, when mask was mentioned I am a big Jekel and Hyde fan (broadway version), then there was phantom and then I had to go to a thresaurus. (my spelling sucks)
