She picked up the mohair, fluffy and brown, And started to wind it, round and round. Grandmother showed them; the children aglow. What was she really doing, though? I think I have a masterpiece here. : ) Good luck. It shouldn't be too hard, though it was VERY fun to write.
0 Guest
So it's like Grandma is the Sun, surrounded by her grandchildren the "Planets", and she is making a planet for each of the children? Started with Earth (blue cotton/flax) and then Mars (fluffy brown mohair)? there's nothing fancy, no hidden meanings, in this riddle. The lady is simply spinning yarn for her children. I'm afraid I'm nearly incapable of eluding someone, or so much depth. But, I'm trying.
0 Guest
*Deleted* very fun one. any reason why you chose cotton, flax and mohair? Thank you. No. I am an AVID knitter/crocheter and my favorite yarns to work with are wool (too basic), cotton/flax blend, and I LOVE brown mohair. So, I had to add something in there about the type of yarn she was working with. : )
