The man working on the ladder clims up the 20 steps to a window. He goes through the window and into a guest's room. He goes out the door, down the stairs inside and gets out another window halfway from the ground to the first window (highest of the 2) and up again to the second window. Now from there he goes up 2 more levels. He drops the ladder but mannages to get through the window into the elevator. He doubles the hieght he's already managed to get up, but can't get down or up again alive. Why?
Simple:you can't jump down 6 levels(two windows per level) alive, he dropped his ladder, elevator doesn't work, and his leg hurts after 80 steps.
