One day a boy named Cor decided to sell pastries at the market, so he packed his bag with his things and went on his way. Cor sold most of his items but there were still some left so he put them in his bag with the profit he made, put it by a nearby rock and laid down to take a nap. When Cor awoke he found that his belongings had been stolen, so he began to cry. A judge past by and ask him what was wrong and when he told him what happened the judge summoned the whole town to find the thief. The judge said "who has stolen this boys things" and when no one came forward so he calls out to the rock “the only other thing around was this rock, did you take this boys money?” As he suspected the rock did not respond. So he said to the whip man “Take the rock, bind him and give him 50 lashes.” So the whip man did as he was told and everyone around began to laugh so the judge said “you are not to laugh” and when they didn’t stop laughing he said “everyone here will pay 5 crescents for laughing”. So everyone was putting there money in a big bowl while the judge watched them. Then a man puts his money in the bowl and the judge cries out “you are our thief” and had him bond and put in a cell to await his trial. The judge gave the boy the money in the bowl for his troubles and that trial ended.
