Guest Posted March 13, 2009 Report Share Posted March 13, 2009 i'm worldwide, i can be whatever i want, and i exist just to make people sad. i do plenty of jobs, such as coughs and diarrhea. and i'm very, very, bad. the bosses all work together just to control me. though to do that, they need my help, and sometimes i give them that. it's an accident, of course, i'd never cooperate, i don't want them to complete their task. i'd rather them catch me, than learn to control me, and i want them all dead. It's actually the other way around: An epidemic may be restricted to one locale (an outbreak), more general (an "epidemic") or even global (pandemic). A pandemic (from Greek "pan" meaning all + "demos" meaning people) is an epidemic of infectious disease that spreads through populations across a large region; for instance a continent, or even worldwide.
