Question

I looked for both of these and didn't find them. But I may have over looked them.

1. What is that which goes with a carriage, comes with a carriage, is of no use to a carriage, and yet the carriage cannot go without it? What am I?

2. Lives without a body, hears without ears, speaks without a mouth, to which the air alone gives birth. What am I?

How is the first one right?

Because noise comes with a carrage, goes with a charrage wherever it goes, and can not run without noise because of the horse.
