Boredom Riddle

Question

Worms in my head to my toe;

“Get them out!” I so long to shout.

And I’ve sure been around for awhile—

Just check out at my throat! Do you wonder I choke?

Hindering spirit both lively and old,

I stop all the fun, and it takes only one.

I’m so bored with the carousal punch,

So leave me alone, my work here is done!

I’m just wishing that I could go fishing,

(So I can show you the fish hot on the dish!)

:P

"worms in my head to toe" Tangable "worms" aka parasites, bacteria, etc, or more symbolic "worms" aka confusion or insanity?

Come on now, Colorclown, this one's kind of easy; you can work it out. But I rarely give out such leading information anyway.

Good luck.

All I can think of is something that has to do with alchohol. But then again, some lines don't fit. Especially the last 2.

Error in line 4. Should read

Just check out my throat! Do you wonder I choke?

bordem

I doubt it would be that simple because

that is the title, after all.

But who knows? That could be part of puddings trick!

The earth?

Worms in my head to my toe; Yup

“Get them out!” I so long to shout. Longs to shout, since it can't actually

And I’ve sure been around for awhile— For sure

Just check out at my throat! Do you wonder I choke?

Hindering spirit both lively and old,

I stop all the fun, and it takes only one. With an earthquake maybe?

I’m so bored with the carousal punch,

So leave me alone, my work here is done!

I’m just wishing that I could go fishing,

(So I can show you the fish hot on the dish!)

Interesting line of thought but incorrect.

a corpse?

Worms in my head to my toe;

“Get them out!” I so long to shout.

And I’ve sure been around for awhile— [These lines make me think of some Hamlet lines about Polonius and death etc.]

Just check out at my throat! Do you wonder I choke?

Hindering spirit both lively and old, [death comes to all?]

I stop all the fun, and it takes only one. [One death would stop the fun]

I’m so bored with the carousal punch, [is this meant to be carousal or a type for carousel??]

So leave me alone, my work here is done! [Resting in peace]

I’m just wishing that I could go fishing,

(So I can show you the fish hot on the dish!) [Not sure unless it is a bit of doggeral, but doesn't seem to be your style.]

spoilers. This one smacks of Mardi Gras, Lent, etc. I can't pin down exactly which part you're getting at, though.

The choking/neck line seems to elude to beads. "Tired of the carousal(drunken) punch," Looking forward to friday fish fry? Perhaps you're referring specifically to Ash Wednesday? I guess we'll see.

OH! I think I got it! Are you the Mardi Gras Hangover?? :( That seems to fit the best! :P

Is this one of those WAI riddles?

A corpse

:o

What does WAI stand for? I've seen it like 20 times in the past week.

Nope, nothing yet. I thought this one would have fallen by now.

Keep at it. Here's my final edit; maybe it'll help:

Worms from our heads to our toes,

“Get them out!” we long to shout.

And we’ve sure been around for awhile—

Just check out our throats! See how we choke?

Hindering spry spirit and old,

We stop all the fun (though it only takes one).

We’re so bored with the carousal punch,

Now leave us alone, our work here is done!

We're just wishing that we could go fishing,

(and we’ll show you the fish hot on the dish!)
