Question

Try This One:

I don't protect you from your enemies.

I am not your best friend.

I cannot be employed in court.

I spend not my time with guilty men.

Now what am I?

i guess

conscience

Great Guess, But...

In a lot of people's perceptions, including Mark Twain's, A conscience actually spends most of its time working on guilty parties

None of the above are correct.

Here's a Hint

It's speaking to you

I know it's lame, but in the right context you should get it.

Romulus064?

Or... the judge?

Or... the voices in my head?

Sorry, I put the wrong tense in the hint.

1. I could easily be bribed

2. If your innocent, he's supposed to be your friend

3. I don't know the voices in your head very well, maybe if you described them I could identify them

maybe but i understood this as the men who have been "guilty as charged"...

...if they are "guilty" then in that case they have no conscience

but again i might be reading too much into it...will think of something else on some other lines

your heart?

No

I don't know about you, but I've only heard of dead men being heartless.

The old ticker still seems to enjoy the company of convicts.

is it the jury?

No,

The jury are the people that get bribed the most often.

I hear that some people go on jury duty before they go to the unemployment office.

I know you guys are all going on random guesses, but think, Do you know the guy who's talking to you?

money

Good Observation :)

The logic is correct but the answer is wrong

1. Hush Money, "Bully Insurance

2. Some might say otherwise

3. Typically the reason they're guilty

4. Did I say something about Bribes?

Sorry, I've just got a horrible tendency to play the literalist.

By Heartless I assume you mean "without conscience" It's already been discussed.
