CaptainEd, your new spreadsheet still issues a security warning at open, telling me it has macros. I just copied it.

It looks great, but there's something about the macros.

Ooops, that was sloppy of me. It doesn't use the macros (but it still has them--oops). I'll fix that. Main thing is, it doesn't use the macros, so as long as they'll let you use the spreadsheet, you'll be ok.

edit: OK, here's the latest, called MasterWordCounterNoMacroRev2--it needs no macros and it HAS no macros.

Sorry to be a pain, but I still get the security warning telling me it has macros.

nvm, it could only be laurels anyway

"laurels" would work with almost all words, except that "sequels" would then render "xxo" instead of "xx".

Squalls would give a different result too, I think.

Then I screwed up and Laurels is correct!

I'm sorry I did double check the words after this took so long but I didn't see those mistakes.

Whoever wants the next one can have it

Gmaster, if my spreadsheet isn't working for you, please let me know (See "Tools By CaptainEd" in my sig for a good place to post). If you can't use it because of macros, there's a new version that doesn't use macros. In either case, it lays the answers out in columns, so it doesn't make such a big footprint.
