master ooo

shrine x

yellow _

stripe xo

single x

crafts xx

Given letters

M - possible

A - possible

S - NOT, possible two different places in single and crafts but no 'o'

T - possible

E - NOT, possible yellow gave _

R - NOT, possible two different places in crafts and shrine but without 'o'

H - possible

I - NOT possible, two different places in single and shrine without 'o'

N - NOT possible, two different places in single and shrine without any 'o'

Y - NOT possible, yellow gave _

L - NOT possible, yellow gave _

O - NOT possible, yellow gave _

W - NOT possible, yellow gave _

P - possible

G - possible

C -possible

F - possible

Since master only has 3 possible letters M, A and T have to be used

Since shrine only has one possible letter and as an 'x' the second letter has to be H

Since stripe only has 2 possible letters P must also be used

Since single only has one possible letter and as an 'x' the fourth letter must be G

Since crafts has got T and no 'x' the position of T must be the fifth letter

Since there are only two other possible letters and F is using the fourth spot, C has to be the first letter

Our word now looks like this: CH_GT_

which I can't get to be a proper word with the letters A and M so I've got three potential problems:

Have you made any mistake in the words above? (most likely yellow (e))

Have I made any mistakes?

What rules do you have for using same letters many times in a word? (above I've used a rule of none)
