0 Guest
I can't think of anything yet that matches all three clues. The third clue seemed the most telling and I came up with a cell phone for that, but it really doesn't fit the other two. nbmints' answer really fits the first clue and sort of fits the second. Frodo It fits in a strange sort of way.

0 Guest
The human heart Human heart fits the first one perfectly and the second one well, but just to be a stickler the human heart can be touched during surgery before its job is done. And as for the third one, could it be refering to a defibrillator and the ringing sound it makes while charging? Or maybe a stethoscope "finding" the heart beat? Please use a spoiler. heart 1) a broken heart (in love) 2) if you can touch your own heart, that's not good. 3) if you lose your heart, you might get married

I think the third one refers to if you lose someone's heart...you'd better come back with a wedding/engagement ring to let them know you'd never do it again..as sappy as that sounds... 0 Guest
If you break me i'll not stop working; If you can touch me my job is done; If you lose me, you must find me with a ring soon after.... What Am I? This one's got me puzzled. While the previous suggestions all have their "could definately be's," it still seems like something obvious is missing. I like the thoughts of a cell phone. Way to think out of the box for "ring"! A horse works for the first one, but it doesn't fit as well for the rest. I was even thinking of a star... idk The heart of a woman? or A dream of marriage? I'm really curious.
0 Guest
I think it could be a race horse or a shadow... the third one doesn't work well with 'shadow' unless it's referring to an eclipse happening.
0 Guest
I think it could be: Sweat. You break a sweat when you work, but you don't stop working. If you touch (wipe) the sweat, then it's job is done (it cools you down). And if the sweat dries... it leaves a ring behind on your clothes. Nasty, but true. Am I right?
