Guest
If three children ate three lollipops in three days, how many lollipops did a child eat in one day? This shouldn't take to long... This is easy, like my other ones. I don't have a great mind like Andromeda or woon. 0 Guest
If three children ate three lollipops, we can say they each ate one... if it took them 3 days to eat those lollipops, then they each would have consumed 1/3 of it in one day. So 1 child eats 1/3 of a lollipop in 1 day

0 Guest
I think I got it, is it...Each child ate 1/3 of a lollipop each day?

0 Guest
If three children ate three lollipops in three days, how many lollipops did a child eat in one day? See? That's what's wrong with kids these days. No ambition! Why in my day, we'd eat 3-4 lollipops in a matter of hours if we could get our hands on em! We were industrious back then! Decorum and self control were things for the grown-ups! Who cares how sick we got?!? That's not what it was about. It was about making a statement. We're kids and we eat lollipops. That's it. Sheesh, kids with discipline... is that what this world's come to?
0 Guest
realize that's just mathematically how it worked out... Really what happened was the three kids were trying to prove this puzzle and they got in a big fight over the three lollipops, they all wanted all of them, somehow they all got knocked out in the process. Two days later, only one of them woke up (the other two are presumed dead, like the lions) and noticed that he had only 15 minutes left until the end of the third day, so he quickly consumed the three lollipops and realized that if he hadn't, he could have shared 1/3 of a lollipop per diem with his friends, and then they wouldn't be dead. Thus, he solved the problem. Then he turned himself into the police... talk about integrity!

How bout this: If 20 kids ate 1000 lollipops in 50 days, how many lollipops will 1 kid eat in 1 day? Hardly ambitious, but it's a start.
