Question

Villainous super hero in a looney tune box.

Lord maker, god breaker, key to the locks.

I have a warrior lover in the attic mountain.

One against another to another then again.

I’m the logical same of a question mark.

The flick of a light in the upstairs dark.

I’m the un-corked fly,

I just won’t die,

I’m oh so high,

So try

My

Little guidance? I can't find a starting point here. Is there a single answer? One for each line? A combination of the two?

I apologize for not making it clearer.

Each line save the last 3 (just for rhyme and style) give clues that point to the general answer. They are aspects of it.

"What's my I" is just another way of saying what am I? The answer(s) have nothing to do with the letter "I"

Prof: 2, 3, 5, 6 answers are close and could work well in positing final answer.

close on 3

Number one superhero of all time. Make him a villain and see if that helps.

Where'd you dredge THIS one up from! LOL!! My first Shakey-riddle. Not that good and very esoteric.

Here's a hint:

Line 1 is a clue to a person. If you knew who the person was, you would get the riddle.

Line 2 describes what this is, has done . . . the answer.

Line 3 is a clue to a related concept. Figure out the warrior lover on the "mountain" and what he/she/it represents and it may lead to the answer.

Line 4 is a clue to a concept. Figure out the concept and it may lead to the answer.

Line 5 is a direct clue as to what this is.

Line 6, 7, 8 describe it.

"high" means lofty, and not in a spatial sense.

Go get 'em Tiger!!!

i think it's a riddle or a riddle about a riddle.....???

line 1 describes the Riddler from batman....either him or the Joker...i don't like the joker, he's dumb..

line 5 - logical same of (?) can only be a riddle.....right?

i think you're describing the riddle.....like an unopened box...

the other lines i can't explain, but i'm thinking that it has something to do with the riddles in mythology, like the riddle of the sphinx

anyway, it's just a thought....and now i'm hungry...be back l8tr.....:D

I like this riddle.....nice...:thumbsup::D

Thanks for the compliment EDM. I personally don't like it because I made it too vague I think. It was tailored specifically for individuals with a particular educational backround. Your answer is an excellent one but not the correct one.

Line seven about the uncorked fly refers to a famous comment regarding one variation of the answer. Once out of the metaphorical bottle, there was no way to get "it" back in.

maybe it's wisdom, then......??? goddess is athena (one of my faves

:wub::D)....???

but i still feel that i'm missing something here.....:(

wait.....if it's to do with wisdom, then it could be clues......so it could be a treasure hunt or something...possibly a quiz...???

philosophy...??? or philosophical questions...???

how 'bout Enlightenment....???

Yeah! EDM gets it!

Philosophy (schools)

Vilanous superman in a lunatic's box: crazy Nietzsche

Uncorked Fly: Logical positivism (Wittgenstein)

One against another to another again: Hegelian dialectic

etc.

Yeah! It's dead!
