Question

I love the game Tribond, where there's a common element in a set of three. So I've put my own spin on the concept.

Here's a sample Tribond to get you started

A white-patterned horse

Machi Picchu’s modern capital

Trio Squared

Canal

Door

Hair

Gator

Marlin

Panther

Softly

Grand

Upright

Trio-Phun

University of Virginia

White House

Bowling

Wedge

Dollar

Castle

Some toothpaste

Hair product

Jello

We

Ourselves

Deconstructed Trio Phun

Stories

Military direction

Home Insurance Building in Chicago is recognized as the first

Girl who ate cottage cheese

Red, with the lead pipe in the study

Formerly crowned in New Jersey

The big one’s in Missouri

Two wheels plus an engine

Mad mount

Use scissors

How the donkey gets it’s tail

Foot, basket, base

Contact lenses in a frame

An alternative to suspenders

To wash one’s self

OK I think I get it

A nation’s fleet - navy

A white-patterned horse - zebra or you meant maybe a white horse with a spotted pattern

Machi Picchu’s modern capital - peru

So basically we have to translate those phrases and then find what they have in common?

edit:

Maybe all this stuff has to do with clothing maybe cardigans?

Wedge

Dollar

Castle

Sand

there's Bond #2!

edit...and your edit is another Bond!

does TJ have something to do with bowling? Is this TJ trivia I don't know? Anyway, it's not what I had in mind. This one might be a bit of a stretch.
