Okay, I would imagine the ball would come back to you if you threw it into a gust of wind at the same mph. that the ball was thrown.

If you're underwater and throw an inflated ball down, wouldn't it come right back to you if you're above the ball when you throw it?

rolling on floor laughing my f***ing a** off. i really enjoyed reading all the replies to this one. wow. i will bet any amount of money that the majority of dumb answers came from college grads. why do we over complicate simple questions. the moon, orbit the earth, another planet. people watching to much sci-fi channel. FYI you're on earth and with those kinds of answers you're never leaving it (astronaut wannabe's)

well wat about putting the "BALL" in a LHC or a particle accelerator

it wud keep spinning with ur problems solved

no air molecules, complete vacuum and it wud keep spinning

the down side wud be to develop a accelrator designed 2 suit accelerating particles the size of balls

lol

Throw the ball up into the air. Gravity will simply cause the ball to fall back to you.

I'm surprised no suggested throwing a bowling ball in the gutter at a bowling alley.

The ball hits nothing, there's no attachments of any kind. The machine returns it automatically, so there's "no one else" catching or throwing the ball.
