He is either a giant or a midget* the only way he could be both is if you said "Compared to midgits, he's a giant, but compared to giants he's a midget.**" Otherwise any reasonable definition of "giant" (eg 'born to two giants', 'taller than average', 'at least 2m tall') would exclude him from being a "midget" ('from a family of midgets' , 'smaller than average', 'less than 4 foot tall') * {Giants} ∩ {midgets} = Ø ** which is what Lost said, except he said 'compared to japanese people he's a giant...'
