Guest
It is my job to make a good impression, to fail would result in the loss of my commission. I can only say what others have told me to say, but with out my words my impression would fade. What am I? I was born of German ingenuity and the need to spread religion

0 Guest
good job, i was hoping my first attempt would last alittle longer then 3 mins, but you got it. Did the hints make is to easy? It was good. I did not read the hints till after I solved it. Also, I believe that it distinguishes itself from stamps and such, by saying "I can only say what others have told me to say." This is because a printing press ONLY prints words, while stamps and such print pictures and things of that nature also. If it were my riddle I may have approached it by guiding the readers towards the printing presses' time, perhaps the Gutenberg, but most importantly what it had done for society. It brought books and such to the masses; it was the first invention that began to widespread literacy. Yet, that is just my approach...I just believe if you establish what it did it has to distinguish itself from such common things as the stamp. But good puzzle, I hope you make more.
