Question

Look bellow

You’ll need one of those

And two marks indicating that

admission won’t be granted

Add some intermediate color

But not the whole thing

You’ll only need a small part

That changes it’s meaning

Add a word to fill a pause and

Attach one indefinite article

Hit and push against

With the head if you must

But the animal farm will be

Kicking out both of you

You can ask why, but

The answer is revolting

Slender in form, my

Thousandth post appears

But take small mouthfuls

It’s a demand, for the rest

Of it you’ll need a pouch

Compulsive doughnut eater

Will come in the end

Take a small chunk away

From his front, cut him in half

In the middle to place in

A specific location.

As a solution you’ll get

A law not to obey!

This one was originally intended to be my 1000th post riddle, hence the “Thousandth post appears” line. Lines joined together with colors will yield a letter(s), or a word! In the end you have to assemble those letters to get a sentence!

:)

'two marks indicating that no admission will be granted' could be

an 'X'? maybe a 'DO NOT ENTER' sign?

 am i on the right track?

and for the 'intermediate color'

do u mean like green, purple and orange?

 or does it resemble something?

oh and 'add a word to fill a pause' would most definetly be...

'ummm' or 'uh'

If not any of those, it will probably be something similar :D

Hm... I don't even know how to give a hint without giving it away??

wait, hold on, it says indefinite article

'the' is not an indefinite article, so it can only be 'a' or 'an'. wait... isn't 'some' also an indefinite article?

The, Those (I think) are definite

A, An, Some are indefinite

I THINK!

EDIT: SPELLING!!!!!

i think i got it sorted out for the intermediate color.
range. (orange - 'O' = range) because you only need part of the word.

OK little help

for example when you have two colors I don't know yellow and green and then you have an intermediate color... how do you call that color and then I only need the last part that's changing it's meaning!

[spoiler='But the animal farm will be

Kicking out both of you']cow or horse

is it Y? maybe?

Yes! Check spoiler! And the animal farm is wrong! :)

a, an, or the

Check spoiler!

Um, if we all take a look

HERE

So it's either

red-orange, yellow orange, yellow green, blue green, red violet and blue violet!

So that helps maybe... maybe?

And two marks indicating that

admission won’t be granted

Could it be as simple as no? Two marks might indicate two letters?

Also for:

In the middle to place in

A specific location.

Halfway? Centre, central? (not sure english or american spelling or if it even makes a difference)

First guess - no

and yes two letters

Second guess no

the middle part is important after you solve the compulsive doughnut eater - there's some slicing and splicing!

 Check your spoiler

:)

Compulsive doughnut eater? I can only think of two things. Either Homer Simpson (who else) or police (the stereotypical cop who eats doughnuts all day).

As for the two marks....

Two letters. I can't think of anything other than no, except what Faizaan said about the X. Except it was meant as ex?

I'll get back to the specific location later.....maybe after the compulsive doughnut eater has finished eating his doughnuts.

ingenious!! that's probably it! :o unless were both wrong

I can't think of a word/time where you use "my answer"

Lets see...

LateX X-Rays?

SaX Xylophone?

Haha... it's not the stereotype! But you have to combine that with the right letters from the last two lines as it says in the riddle! ;)

Good point!

How old are you BTW??

;)
