Our powdered French vigilante friend stirred the film buff in me the other day, and somebody commented that all of the films in the list were American. So, here are some of the best from the rest of the world.

All of the titles and filmmakers are famous (well, to a cinephile anyway), so there is no need to go mining through the obscure. Many can also be guessed without knowing the film, so you get an extra point for providing the filmmaker/director. Enjoy!

20. "Our iron to you" in Paris - so I was looking at this, and the French translation is "Notre Fer A Vous" but (here's where the wickedly interesting and amazing puzzle-writing parts come out) another term for Notre is Nos, and another term for Vous is Tu, so it's

"Nosferatu" (Murnau)

FANTASTIC clue! :)

Yes he seems to be destroying everyones clue atm - apart from my music ones nobody can get them as they are british lol :P

Yeah, I gave those my best shot... I just wish someone would sove them so I could look them up and see what they sound like!!

On to the puzzle.

Dang... that's tough. but I'm guessing since the H is there, that it could be stated as witsful-n-hess...and since there's a Jim Hess Wikipedia page, and the only other Hess I can think of is Rudolf, and I can't associate that to any movies, then I'm going to have to go with the most prominant foreign film I can think of with "and" in the title, that being

"Jules and Jim" (Truffaut) (It's on my netflix queue at the moment)

I doubt that's correct though. And even if it is, the logic isn't
