Question

Since my first riddle didn't last long, how about another? Maybe slightly harder.

Steve and Sally were sitting in the front room one night. While Steve was watching TV, his wife Sally was reading. All of a sudden, the power cut out and Steve decided to go to bed, but Sally kept on reading. With no use of artificial light, Sally finished her book. How?

I was thinking more along the lines of they were in Alaska in the summer where it can be light enough to read even at midnight. Never mind though SarahJhanes answer was better anyhow.

The book is in Braille.
