Question

Hey. This is my first riddle, it's a trial one, I've no idea if I've given too many hints or if I've left it too unclear and random, but I'm hoping everyone on BD will let me know :) . I'll give hints out if it goes stale and I've left one to get you all started.

- 10294 separates there which is famous for Banks, and to chant a sweat hole, aka:w.

- And s1 separates w and the capital of the 9th largest country in the world, aka: x.

- s2 separates x and the Master of Subterfuge Cow, aka: y.

- s3 separates y and (L)(d)(on2), aka: z.

Ok so what (or where more suitably) comes after z?

--------------------

To help out, the key to getting the answer is s1, s2 and s3. But obviously they can only be worked out with the help of w, x and y.

w= A city in far east asia

;)

I would suggest as well to do it line by line, don't look at the 2nd without having the first figured out. :)

Wow... I can't believe the variance in numbers between your site and the site I was using... And here I've thought, all this time, that the internet never lies.... ;)

But thank for that. That should make things equal then.

I'm going to leave you all for a while,

PoudreAvenger you've got/will get th values for s1 and so on.. just play around with them, there's hints in title as well don't forget ;)

I'll be on later to check your progress :)

O and, 5 stars from 2 people... that's really nice ^_^ , I'm all chuffed ^_^ lol

[spoiler=Oh sure... trust MY math... ]Ok...

Geneva to Singapore is given as 10294 Km

Singapore to Astana is 10325 km

Astana to Moscow is 2587 km

Moscow to London is 2507 km

So what can we make out of that?

That's a sum of 25713 km

EDIT: Removed commas

Geneva to Singapore is given as 10,294 Km

Singapore to Astana is 10,325 km

Astana to Moscow is 2,587 km

Moscow to London is 2,507 km

That's a sum of 25,713 km

True, but not quite what i had in mind :)

There are other hints in the title to this part too. Btw remove the comma's ;)

Ok. I'll keep looking.

Commas have been removed.

Great puzzle, by the way.

So I noticed one mistake before

added the initial 10294 into the equation, as the OP states that s1, s2, and s3 are the key... and 10294 isn't one of those.

So the new sum is 15419. It doesn't appear that that distnace relates to any other capitol, though.

10294 is important, it's what your adding, work you're doing with addition that's the key.

Maybe this is where the 'Missing Elements' come in?

All I can think of for part of the first one is Singapore

Ok... "elements" to me hints at chemistry.... and I'm no good with chemistry, and I'd like to see where this goes from here. So... help would be good. ;)

Ok np, was gonna give a few hints but then forgot

 ..

you're right on the elements?

what happens when you add the individual numbers of each of each distance (includind the given on).. you're left with four numbers...

ok... that was the nudge I needed (maybe :D )

Trip 1 = 16 (S) Sulphur

Trip 2 = 11 (Na) Sodium

Trip 3 = 22 (Ti) Titanuim

Trip 4 = 14 (Si) Silicon

SNATISI?

It's a start. Let's see where that goes, for a bit.

Nah... I think you should add them until there's one number left

7 2 4 5 - NHEBEB

EDIT: stupid math
