I'm not sure if this has been posted before but...here goes!
A community is home to 500 people. The annual community dance just ended last night. The cost of a ticket for a new member is 20 dollars, while the cost of a ticket for longtime memebers is only 14 dollars. All of the longtime members attended the dance, but only 70% of the new members attended.
How much money did the dance staff rake in last night?
7,000 dollars. I'll let you figure out how. It's not that difficult :]
